Contesting a Kosovo Police traffic fine

If you have received a traffic fine and believe it was issued in error, you have the right to contest it. AnkesaPRO scans the fine, extracts the details automatically, and prepares a complaint ready to file.

The deadline

An administrative complaint must be filed within 8 days of the date the fine was issued. The platform checks that date automatically and tells you if the window has closed before you start.

If you choose to pay instead, paying within 15 days usually lets you settle at 50% of the amount. Paying and contesting are different routes, so decide before you act.

How it works

You upload a photo of the fine. The system reads it with OCR and fills in the fields for you: fine number, date, plate, municipality and amount.

You review everything and can correct any field before continuing. Nothing is submitted automatically.

You then answer a few questions about the circumstances, sign directly on screen, and receive the finished document as a PDF.

Filing

On the standard plan you download the document and file it yourself with the competent institution. With Premium, we file it for you.

Your case status stays visible in your dashboard, and we email you a reminder if the document has not been filed yet.

What you need

  • The fine (a clear photo of both sides, if applicable)
  • Your ID card or driving licence
  • Vehicle documents, if the case involves them
  • Any other evidence: photos, video or witness statements
